Due to the demographic development it is to be expected that there will be a clear and continuous increase in the occurrence of degenerative spine conditions. At the same time patients' expectations regarding the quality of the surgical outcome are rising.
The more precisely the original anatomy – which differs from person to person – can be restored, the greater the long-term success of surgery on the spine.
Our goal is to provide a much better quality of outcome in spine surgery based on individualized patient care with software-aided surgical planning. This is achieved by a combination of clinical knowledge and extensive data evaluation.
spontech develops its products in close cooperation with leading spine surgeons and renowned institutions. Every step is critically monitored and repeatedly evaluated to ensure that the end result is not »just« a new product but a real medical advancement.

company. Not only does this high-caliber scientific advisory board validate all product developments in their early stages, but it also provides consultancy to spontech with respect to all
technological questions to do with future developments.
The demographic transition is beginning to show results: as the population ages, degenerative spine conditions are also on the increase. This means that the number of operations on the spine is also going up. Regrettably, these surgical procedures are not always successful in the long run: approximately every fifth patient has to undergo subsequent surgery as a result of adjacent degeneration. This is usually due to the fact that the adaptation of the implant to the individual spine anatomy was not a hundred percent successful.
